Q. What is "Zoombombing" and how can we avoid it?

Answer

According to a recent article in Inside Higher Ed, "Zoombombing" is when a user of an online meeting platform like Zoom uses a video display feature within the platform to show racist, pornographic, or other inappropriate content.

USC President Carol Folt has created a help page to assist instructors in mitigating Zoombombing.

If you have a Zoombombing incident, please contact Zoom Support.
